Set up

Field

A 20-yard square with a goal on one end line and a semi-circle marked 10 yards from it.

Players

5 or more players. Groups of four or five. One goalkeeper in goal; the rest stand with a ball each beside different-coloured cones around the arc.

One ball per outfield player, kept at their own cone.

How it runs

1. 1.Start with the colored stations fairly close together.
2. 2.Call a color and the player at that station shoots.
3. 3.Before the shot, the goalkeeper must adjust onto the line between the ball and the center of the goal.
4. 4.If the goalkeeper is not correctly positioned, stop the repetition and show the proper spot.
5. 5.Work through every color, then rotate in a new goalkeeper.
