Escape Room: Back Pressure
Set up
- Field
- Mark a square grid and place two small goals, or cone gates, on adjacent sides.
- Players
- 6 or more players. Create two lines of three or four players at the corner between the two goals. One player from each line enters for every repetition.
- Balls
- The coach supplies one ball per repetition and serves the next one as soon as the previous play ends.
How it runs
- 1.One player from each line enters the grid.
- 2.The coach serves toward the far corner.
- 3.Both players race to reach the ball.
- 4.The player who arrives first immediately shields with the body between the ball and the opponent.
- 5.Read the pressure: turn away when the defender is tight, or face forward and attack when space is available.
- 6.The repetition ends with a goal in either small goal or when the ball leaves the grid.
After each rep
Both players return to the back of their own lines and the next pair enters immediately, keeping the drill continuous.
How to win
Score by finishing in either small goal.
