Set up

Field

No area needed. Pairs about five feet apart, then one circle.

Players

2 or more players. Everyone works in pairs, then the whole group forms a circle.

Keeper

Yes.

Balls

One ball per pair, then one ball for the circle.

How it runs

1. 1.The catcher must wait until the ball has left the thrower's hands before bringing the hands forward to catch.
2. 2.After about 12 repetitions, move everyone into a circle and have players throw to one another.
3. 3.Players may not throw to the person immediately beside them, and throws should not be excessively high.
