Set up

Field

Mark a 20x30 yard field. Place 4 small goals on the field, with two spaced apart at each end.

Players

6 or more players. Play 3v3 or 4v4 and adjust the numbers if needed. Split the group into two teams; each team protects two goals and attacks the two goals at the opposite end.

Balls

Keep multiple balls available so restarts can happen quickly.

How it runs

1. 1.The coach begins play with a pass into the field.
2. 2.Players should react quickly whenever possession changes and transition immediately between attacking and defending.
3. 3.There are no goalkeepers, so every player remains part of the field play.
4. 4.Use 3-5 minute rounds and rotate players when necessary.

How to win

A team scores by finishing into either of its two attacking goals.
