Strike Or Dirt Pop Throw Reads
Mixes strikes and dirt balls into one live rep so a catcher has to decide in real time whether to pop up and throw or block first, closer to a real game read.

Set up
Runner takes a lead at second base (or, in leagues without leads, stands on the bag). Coach stands at a safe distance and simulates pitches to a catcher in full gear, mixing strikes with balls thrown in the dirt. A net and tee are set up nearby for a separate accuracy round.
