18 min · Intermediate · 10+ players · Full field
Description
- Setup
- A 40 by 30 yard area. Six attackers who only pass, against a pressing unit of four. Two small goals for the pressers to counter into.
- Play
- The six keep the ball. The four press together on a trigger: a backwards pass, a bad touch, or a ball played to the touchline.
- Score
- Win the ball and score in a small goal, three points. Win the ball at all, one point. The six get a point for ten passes.
- Harder
- Add a fifth presser but shrink the trigger to backwards passes only.
- Easier
- Tell the six when to make the bad pass so the trigger is obvious.
